Why people take it

Your cells' own defences, switched on

Sulforaphane doesn't fight oxidative stress for your cells — it teaches them to do it themselves.

Cellular defence

Sulforaphane activates Nrf2, the switch for hundreds of your body's own protective genes.*

Antioxidant response

Rather than adding one antioxidant, it upregulates the enzymes your cells use to make their own.*

Detoxification support

Supports phase II liver enzymes — the machinery that packages everyday toxins for removal.*

Healthy aging

The most-studied compound in cruciferous vegetables, at a dose you could never eat your way to.*

Brain support

Sulforaphane crosses the blood-brain barrier, extending its protective signalling to the brain.*

Immune balance

Supports a healthy inflammatory response as part of normal immune function.*

Most sulforaphane never becomes sulforaphane
The activation problem

Most sulforaphane never becomes sulforaphane

Cruciferous vegetables don't contain sulforaphane — they contain a precursor plus an enzyme, kept apart until you chew. Cooking kills the enzyme, and most supplements ship without it. Ours ships the complete system.

  • Precursor + enzyme together, so conversion happens reliably — not left to chance
  • Purple cabbage source, stabilised so the enzyme survives to your gut
  • A study-relevant dose in one serving — the equivalent of kilos of raw broccoli
The difference

Sulforaphane vs typical broccoli extracts

The compound is only as good as its conversion. That's where most products quietly fail.

Sulforaphane FAQ

Common questions

What actually is sulforaphane?

It's the compound that makes broccoli, sprouts and cabbage famous in nutrition research. It activates Nrf2, a switch that turns on hundreds of your body's own protective and detoxification genes.*

Why does myrosinase matter?

Plants store sulforaphane as an inactive precursor (glucoraphanin) plus a converting enzyme (myrosinase). No enzyme, no conversion — and most supplements contain no enzyme. Ours includes active myrosinase so the conversion happens reliably.

Can't I just eat broccoli?

You can and should — but study-relevant sulforaphane doses correspond to kilograms of cooked broccoli or large daily servings of raw sprouts, grown fresh. One capsule serving replaces that logistics problem.

How should I take it?

Take one serving daily, with or without food. Consistency matters more than timing — Nrf2 activation is something you maintain, not spike.

What does it stack well with?

It complements the rest of the SAP range — particularly TUDCA for liver support and AstaKrill for omega-3s. There are no known conflicts within the range; consult your physician if you take medication.
